Aflac CRO Jumps to Genworth
Editor's note: This story has been edited to clarify who Evangel replaced.
Genworth Financial has named Lori Evangel EVP and chief risk officer. Evangel last served in the same position in Aflac's global investment unit.
Evangel replaces Michel Perreault, who remains with Genworth as chief risk officer of its U.S. life insurance division, according to a Genworth spokesperson.
"Lori's extensive experience with creating, implementing, and leading global risk management systems will be integral to our broader, more comprehensive view of risk management across the enterprise to support the continued progress of Genworth," Genworth president and CEO Tom McInerney said in a statement.
Evangel's insurance experience also includes a stint as SVP and enterprise risk officer for MetLife.
