Pramati Technologies (San Jose, CA), a developer of J2EE application server technology, and Innova Solutions (Santa Clara, CA), a provider of integrated business solutions and CRM consulting services, have formed a strategic alliance. The two companies will integrate Pramati 3.0 server as the foundation J2EE application server engine in Innova's call center management solution. The two companies will engage in joint sales and marketing activities targeting independent software vendors and corporate customers that are building enterprise-class CRM solutions. Over time, the partners report, the range of Innova CRM and e-business solutions leveraging Pramati's J2EE technologies will be expanded and targeted to a broader market of independent software vendors, systems integrators and enterprise customers.
Mercator Software, Inc. (Wilton, CT), provider of comprehensive business integration solutions, has announced its support for Universal Application Networka standards-based, vendor independent application integration solution that was recently released by Siebel Systems (San Mateo, CA). As part of this endorsement, Mercator plans to provide out-of-the-box connectivity between Mercator Integration Broker and Universal Application Network. The integrated solution enables customers to leverage existing IT investments, accelerate time to revenue and reduce cost of implementation, claims Siebel.
UpShot Corp. (Mountain View, CA) announced that UpShot Office will integrate UpShot's sales-focused CRM solution with applications already on a salesperson's computer. UpShot Office is available online or off-line and enables salespeople to generate instant quotes, proposals and presentations by automatically linking the information in UpShot with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other desktop applications. UpShot Office gives sales teams access to UpShot data from familiar applications-even when an Internet connection is not available, according to the vendor.
