CRM BRIEFS

--> Clear Technologies signs a distributor agreement with Direct Data Corp.; --> YellowBrick Solutions and StrategicOne will partner; --> S1 Corp.'s Insurance Solutions Online Help System was honored at the 2002 Online Communication Competition...

Clear Technologies, Inc. (Coppell, TX), signed a distributor agreement with Direct Data Corp. (Horsham, PA) to resell Clear Technologies' C2 CRM applications. According to the vendors, the partnership will provide a strong presence in key Eastern and Midwestern markets as they integrate C2 CRM with existing application offerings and other solutions, such as ERP and SCM, to expand the value proposition to their IBM iSeries customers.

E.piphany Inc. (San Mateo, CA), a full-suite provider of CRM software, announced it has integrated the J2EE-based application server, IBM WebSphere, into the E.piphany E.6 component-based platform. The integration, according to E.piphany, combines what it says is the industry's first J2EE-based CRM suite, featuring integrated sales, marketing, service and analytic capabilities, with the J2EE application server. The result is a single-source, J2EE-based CRM solution suited for businesses standardizing their IT environments on component-based architectures, claims E.piphany.

YellowBrick Solutions, Inc. (Research Triangle Park, NC), and StrategicOne, LC (Kansas City), have announced a partnership to deliver end-to-end services and software solutions. The joint solution leverages YellowBrick's marketing automation software and StrategicOne's CRM services to cover data readiness and analysis, marketing campaign planning and execution, campaign tracking and reporting, as well as software deployment and management, report the vendors. In addition to receiving strategic consulting and technical implementation support, customers of the solution have the opportunity to outsource their application hosting.

Atlanta-based S1 Corp.'s Insurance Solutions Online Help System was honored at the 2002 Online Communication Competition, sponsored by the Boston and Northern New England chapters of the Society for Technical Communication (STC). S1 was one of five organizations to receive the Award of Excellence and was chosen from a candidate pool of more than 35 leading US-based companies. The entries were judged on criteria including information design, writing quality, user interface and ease-of-navigation. Built on the S1 Enterprise Platform, S1 Insurance Solutions supports personal insurance products within the P&C market, as well as life and annuity lines of business.
