CNA Adds VP of Analytics

CNA has appointed Naveen Baweja VP of analytics. In this new role, Baweja will provide leadership and support to underwriting transformation initiatives that are outlined in the company's CNA Enterprise Roadmap, a multiyear investment to improve business processes and technology.

"The Roadmap is a critical enabler to delivering on our strategic goals, especially in the further development of our customer segments and underwriting profitability," said Larry Haefner, EVP and chief actuary, CNA, in a statement. "I am confident that Naveen's experience will help provide leadership to further enhance the company's data and analytics capabilities necessary to drive underwriting profitability improvement."

Baweja last served as the head of a startup venture company, but has led strategy at Canara HSBC Life Insurance and worked as a McKinsey & Company consultant.
