DAS Canada Implements MajescoMastek Billing System

The legal expense insurance provider selected STG Billing for its introduction to the Canadian market — representing Majesco's first billing implementation in the country as well.

DAS Canada, a Toronto-based carrier of legal expense insurance, has gone live with New York-based MajescoMastek's STG Billing system.

STG will handle all customer payments, broker commissions and financial records associated with insurance brokers’ distribution, according to the companies. It was commissioned by DAS Canada on July 5. More than 100 brokers have already registered.

STG will integrate with DAS Canada’s rate, quote and issue broker portal to help build and lead the legal expense market in Canada through independent brokers, the companies say.

“We are very excited about ‘going live’ with MajescoMastek’s STG Billing Solution,” Barbara Haynes, CEO of DAS Canada, says in a statement. “Our goal is to execute customers’ policy and billing needs flawlessly while remaining at the forefront of technological innovation within our industry.”

DAS Canada is a subsidiary of DAS Group, which itself is a German-based subsidiary of Munich Re's primary European insurer, ERGO.
