Erie Names Former Hartford Exec CIO

Erie, Pa.-based Erie Indemnity Company has appointed Robert Ingram EVP and CIO in charge of ongoing design of the company's IT strategy and further development of its technology platform.

Ingram last served as SVP and CIO for commercial lines at the Hartford. He also was in charge of tech for The Hartford's investment management company and enterprise risk management operations.

Erie Indemnity Company is the attorney-in-fact for the subscribers at Erie Insurance Exchange and manages the other companies of the Erie Insurance Group.
