Erie Names The Hartford, USAA Vet IT SVP

The company chose Ruben Fechner as SVP of business applications and support.

Erie, Pa.-based Erie Insurance Group has named Ruben Fechner SVP of business applications and support, IT.

Fechner last worked at The Hartford as VP of commercial, sales and distribution technology. Before that, he spent 20 years at USAA, where he held a variety of leadership and technology roles over a 20-year period, including senior vice president of programs and projects.

The company also named Rob Zehr VP of enterprise risk management; Scott Beilharz VP of capital Management and investor relations; and Brad Eastwood SVP and chief actuary.
