Madison National Life to Implement FastTrack Return-to-Work programs

The FastTrack systems automate the return-to-work life cycle, the company claims.

Madison National Life (Madison, Wisc.) has selected FastTrack (Bedminster, N.J.) Return-to-Work Solutions. The company says the selection will optimize its Return-to-Work programs from both the employer and claimant perspectives, and improve its claim triage through internal operational efficiencies.

These include FastTrack's Transitional Service Tools Module, which automates the capture of the job analysis and physical capabilities form for an injured worker and provides an online comparison identifying any variations in abilities and makes recommendations regarding job accommodations, temporary work assignments and need for additional medical management or occupational change, according to FastTrack.

It also includes FastTrack's Career Service Tools Module, which the vendor says provides claimants, who need to find alternative employment, the means to make connections, build their career-related toolkit and find a job. The net effect allows companies to more quickly identify and assist injured workers that need temporary work assignments or intensive vocational counseling and job transition services, resulting in shorter claim duration, the release continues.

"We believe that FastTrack will allow us to present a compelling value proposition to new and existing employer customers where we can exceed their expectations from a Return-to-Work perspective, resulting in new business and higher levels of customer satisfaction for Madison National," Robert Stubbe, Madison National Life's EVP, says in a statement. "We also look forward to realizing the inherent operational productivity improvements that this technology provides."
