MGIS Names VP of IT Operations

Michael Green takes over the top tech post at the physicians' insurance provider.

Salt Lake City, Utah-based MGIS Companies, a provider of insurance products for physicians, has appointed Michael Green as VP of IT Operations.

Green will lead the development and implementation of strategic IT systems for MGIS and its subsidiary companies. He last was data center operations manager at ADP AdvancedMD, a provider of cloud-based medical billing and practice management services. He has also worked at Symantec and Prestige Financial.

"Michael Green is the perfect addition to MGIS' experienced, visionary senior management team that is dedicated to bringing innovative and practical solutions to the physician group insurance sector," said Jeff Brunken, president of MGIS. "His technology experience with physician groups, understanding of the healthcare industry, and senior level IT expertise builds on our existing strength and understanding of these markets, and our leadership in this space."
