New Symetra SVP Focused on Product Innovation
Reflecting a life insurance trend toward developing and delivering new products to market quickly, Symetra Life Insurance Company has appointed Michael Roscoe SVP of individual life strategy and product innovation.
Roscoe reports to President and CEO of Symetra Financial Corporation, Tom Marra. Roscoe will work in Symetra's Individual Life Division.
“Mike’s creative mind and product expertise are well known in our industry. He will be a valued addition at Symetra as we explore new opportunities in the individual life market,” said Marra in a statement. “We’ll look to Mike to bring a spirit of innovation in all areas of our life business — from product and distribution to underwriting and operations.”

Roscoe has more than 20 years of life insurance product development experience. His previous positions were VP of life product strategy at Prudential and VP of life product management at Hartford Life.
Symetra has 1.8 million customers and 1,100 employees.
