Vertafore Commits to Single Sign-On

The company says its new capability is related to its work with ID Federation.

Agency management company Vertafore has launched a single sign-on platform designed to help users of multiple Vertafore products — including AMS360, PL Rating, Service 24/7, and TransactNOW — log in to all of them with a single user ID and password

The platform also includes the company’s Credential Manager product, which it says provides secure, shared carrier credential storage in a single database.

Vertafore says this launch indicates how it will help support the ID Federation, a broader single sign-on movement — with partner carriers.

Progressive's Jim DeVito updates on ID Federation's momentum

"As a founding partner of ID Federation Inc., we understand wholeheartedly the pain points experienced by our users involved with maintaining multiple user IDs and passwords, for each carrier they represent," said Mark Craig, SVP, product management, Vertafore, in a statement. "The introduction of Vertafore Single Sign-on and its centralized credential management capabilities opens the door for forward-thinking carriers to implement federated relationships."
