United Heartland Makes Two Claims Promotions

New Berlin, Wis.-based workers' compensation carrier United Heartland, which named a claims exec president early last year, has made two promotions within its claims department.

Jane Ische has been named director of claim strategy. She had been manager of claim operations. The University of Wisconsin graduate, who has been with United Heartland for 15 years, will implement a client service/management strategy.

Lee Zubek, a former regional claims manager, has been promoted to director of field claims. She is responsible for managing core claims handling.
