AXA TAPS BISYS

AXA Investment Managers (New York) has chosen BISYS (Little Falls, NJ) to provide fund administration, accounting and distribution services for AXA New Horizons America limited partnerships.

EIC BUYS FRAUD TOOL

Employers Insurance Co. of Nevada (Las Vegas) chose San Diego-based HNC Software Inc.'s VeriComp Claimant predictive technology to increase efficiency and identify workers' compensation fraud.

ANTHEM 3-YEAR DEAL

Indianapolis-based Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and claims adjudication technology provider RealMed Corp. (Indianapolis) announced a three-year integration and services agreement. RealMed will collaborate in migrating Anthem's legacy system to its new Facets system and deploying the RealMed for Health Care Providers product for point-of-service claims resolution.

BENEFITPORT GETS MET

BenefitPort (Greenwich, CT) will distribute MetLife (New York) insurance products through BenefitPort brokers to sell to employer groups. The deal involves a variety of products, including dental, short- and long-term disability, life and accidental death and dismemberment, and covers groups with between two and 1,000 lives.

NIPPON/GENELCO DEAL

Nippon Life Insurance Co. of Japan (Osaka) has licensed the Life Support Plus 4.4 life administration product from the Genelco Software and Services division of Liberty Insurance Services (St. Louis). The system will provide Nippon with life insurance processing in Asia.
