Woodmen of the World Picks StoneRiver for Life Underwriting
Omaha, Neb.-based Woodmen of the World, a nonprofit fraternal insurance organization, has selected Oakland, Calif.-based StoneRiver's LifeSuite automated underwriting system.
LifeSuite, which uses a rules engine, will free Woodmen of the World's underwriters from administrative tasks and better enable them to focus efforts on value-add activities, the companies say.
"We chose StoneRiver and the LifeSuite underwriting system after extensive due diligence to find the right solution from the right vendor," Lee Janecek, chief underwriter with Woodmen of the World, says in a statement. "Not only did StoneRiver offer an impressive product, but their client references and the commitment of StoneRiver staff to our effort made us very confident in our decision."
